Destination Weddings 

Destination weddings, for the purpose of this contract, shall be defined as any wedding utilizing a venue for ceremony, reception, rehearsal and/or rehearsal dinner that requires travel of more than 60 miles (one way) from the Huntsville/Madison AL area. Destination weddings may incur additional costs above and beyond the package price. These costs will be quoted to the client on a case by case basis. Planner will do a cost analysis of the destination that will include travel expenses and lodging necessary to complete work on the wedding appropriate to the package selected. A contract addendum will be drawn up detailing destination costs based on the current government mileage rate, average hotel costs for the destination, and/or plane tickets as necessary to complete work on the wedding. Planner and client will reach an agreement on the addendum before final contract is signed and payment is collected. Any additional travel requests requested by the clients after contract addendum is signed shall be at the clients’ expense using the same calculations used to draw up the original estimate.
